What is the computer upgrade program?
The computer upgrade program is a proactive program that plans the replacement of desktops and laptops that have reached their upgrade eligibility date in domestic locations.
Why is the company replacing my computer?
Maintaining a consistent computer upgrade schedule is part of our commitment to high-quality work experience. By upgrading your computer, you and your department will benefit from the updated technology and it's improved efficiency.
What computing devices will be replaced as part of the program?
Desktops and laptops currently supported by the IT support center are replaced once they reach their upgrade eligibility date. This means the computer you are using will be replaced with an upgraded new device of smaller size and with similar features. This upgrade does not include replacement of displays, peripherals, scanners, or printers.
When will I receive a computer upgrade?
When your current computer your new computer is in stock, the asset upgrade team will send you an IT Action email letting you know your upgrade is ready and informing you of the next steps.
